Music Production Process
Our Music Production Process Explained
We involve you throughout the production process and ask for your input
to make sure that you will be happy with the result. After all, we are
committed to keeping you as a happy customer for a lifetime!
The typical full music production goes
through 4 simple steps:
Step #1: Initial
Consultation
After you place your order, the music
producer assigned to your project will call and/or email you to discuss
your needs in great detail. At that stage, we determine together what
style, vocalist, arrangement, orchestration and mix your project
requires.
At that stage, we will also ask you to
supply us with as many pieces of information about your project (e.g.,
melody, lyrics, a rough demo, MIDI files) as you have available. Those
can be sent to us via regular mail, emailed, or even uploaded onto our
FTP project server.
Step #2: Production
Of The Instrumental
After your producer/arranger finishes
the instrumental arrangement, you have the opportunity to give him your
feedback, and request multiple revisions before we record the vocals for
your song. At that stage, we will also prepare a melody guide track for
our vocalists to make sure they sing every single word and note the way
you intended them to be.
Step #3: Recording
Session & Mixing
At that stage, we record vocals for your
song. After the vocals have been recorded, one of our studio engineers
will prepare a first rough mix of your demo recording. Again, you will
have the opportunity to give us your feedback and request multiple
revisions to the mix before we master it.
Step #4: Finish
Line
Once complete, we will send you the
final master piece on 2 data and 2 audio CDs that include:
- A High-Quality
Audio CD
- .WAV and/or .AIFF of each
individual track and the final mix
- MIDI data
Don’t forget - depending on the package
you select and your project’s specific needs, we usually
prefer to have 4 to 5 weeks to work on your project to make sure you get
the highest possible quality demo for your project! Throughout the
process, you will receive regular updates.
